School starts on Monday...
I like school and all, and I'm kind of excited because I've got some really great classes (although I had to drop band... *tear*), but it still kind of sucks that I'm not going to be at home doing nothing all day again. And with work, I'll probably be pretty busy on the weekends too.
Assuming I don't get fired, that is. I totally spaced about having work yesterday, and then half an hour after I was supposed to be there I got a call from one of the cooks asking where I was. I had no ride to get there, though, so I had to run there. August in Texas is HELL to run in! I thought I was going to die.
Anyways, I got there and all, and nobody seemed too mad, other than the cook that called me. But he just doesn't like me.
They're talking about maybe starting to serve alcohol there though, which would SUCK since I'm a minor, so I wouldn't be able to work there anymore. I love my job, I make so much money in tips, I really don't want to loose it!
I've almost got enough money saved up for the trip to A-Kon next May! Then once I get my money saved up, I can start working on my cosplays again! The one I'm most excited for is the Agito wedding dress cosplay. That's going to rock. I'm going to hold off on that one until winter, though, so I'll have the fall to work on other cosplays and get better at my sewing. I'm pretty excited for making the Fai cosplay too. That one will be fun. I'd love to make the big furry coat, because it's so pretty, but, honestly, I'd die in Dallas wearing that thing. Makes me really miss Montana. I could take such epic cosplay pictures in that costume in the winter then too... *sigh* So, anyways, I'll be making his other outfit. I'll probably start that next, I just need to figure out how to make it so that the pants are attached to the shoes. I'll probably end up getting or making a footie pajama style pattern, as that's more or less what it is. My other cosplays that are planned is a joint one with my friend who's also going to A-Kon, we'll be doing L and Light, but with several original variations. She's designing them, I'm making them. It's going to be EPIC.

About Me
Hi. :D So, um... Yeah. Hi. I'm Anyagirl21, you can call me Anya for short. I'm 15, despite what my age says above. I must have been half-asleep and had forgotten my birthday when I registered here or something. That's about it. I used to have a really long profile, but I got tired of it. Long profiles are kinda... Ugly. They're fun to type up, but then they're just plain blah. So that means I should probably just quit here. Bye!

I see... well the air gear anime dubbed voices are really good!

and sometimes i get lazy with reading subtitles. they only stay there for a few secounds. i think you should REALLY watch the air gear anime! it is awsome, and extremelly funny! i have the whole series in eglish and japanese! awsome.
what pictures of agito and air gear or/and anime do you have? what stuff do you own? how old are you?

Hey,
I saw your post on "My Teacher is an Otaku."
It would be very epic indeed if manga was incorporated into the English curriculum, and i believe many teachers would love to do that. Unfortunantly, changing such material is not always the power of the teachers, and usually states mandate what should/should not be covered in school.
Despite this, at least around the districts I teach in, you may be able to take senior electives where teachers incorporate manga as a course, or in that quarter elective class.
I also found ways to use Naruto with my grades 7 and 8 classes (in moderation). So it can be done, if you would like to see such a class/topic, let your english deptartment know, or let your principal know.
Or you could start a manga club after school, and talk about the literary merits of manga.
:)
Good luck.
(ps: many teachers would like to use manga in their class, again it depends on the school district/principal more than on the teacher him/herself.)
